Blackheads have plagued woman’s face for years. However, a cheaper way to do this is to fill a sink with hot water, drape a towel of your head and allow the steam to rise. The problem with this method is that the water goes cold quickly. After you have steamed your face take a blackhead extractor tool and use it remove the black heads (“Blackheads”). I recommended the Tweezerman Blackhead Extractor for about $10. You will be amazed at all the gunk that comes out (“Tweezerman”).

Exfoliate 1 to 3 times a week, but no more than that because you will dry out your skin. Drying out your skin may seem like a good idea, but it actually causes your body to produce more oil which creates more blackheads and zits. Afterwards rinse with cold water to close your pores back up. Use Non-Comedogenic products that are water-based instead of oil-based. Also toner helps close pores to keep icky foreign bodies. The last thing is try to keep your beautiful, but oily hair out of your face. Do use a facial mask about once a week (“Prevent”).
Once you know the correct way to get rid of blackheads and zits you will find that getting rid of them is breeze. By following the simple prevention guide above once there gone, you can keep them away or at least slow them.
