Foods for Hair
Dine your way to a healthier head of hair with this delicious salad. This salad contains essential hair nutrients to keep your locks lustrous, growing and healthy. This salad is filled with vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidants such as beta carotene, silica and vitamin C.
Great Hair Day Salad
6 ounces spinach leaves
1/2 an cucumber sliced (skin on!!)
4 celery stalks, chopped
2 large ripe avocados
2 tablespoons hemp seeds
juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons olive or flax oil
2-3 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp honey
1 tablespoon fresh parsley
1 tablespoon fresh chives
sea salt and pepper to your liking
Put the spinach leaves, cucumber and celery in a bowl.
Peel, pit and slice the avocados. Toss them in the lemon juice, add it to the salad and sprinkle with the hemp seeds.
To make the dressing, put all the dressing ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. Drizzle over the salad and toss well.
Serve and enjoy!
