Food For Face Tropical Smoothie Recipe
2 Generous Servings
1/2 cup young coconut water
1/2 cup frozen banana
*bananas are a great source of potassium, vitamins C, vitamin B6 and magnesium!
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/4 cup mango (preferably frozen)
*mango is a great source of vitamin A, vitamins C, vitamins B6, copper and flavonoids (beta-carotene, alpha-carotene and beta-cryptoxanthin) which, are antioxidants!
1/4 cup papaya (preferably frozen)
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
*pineapple is a great source of vitamins C, vitamin B6 vitamins B1, manganese, fiber and folate
1/4 cup young coconut meat, chopped
1 tablespoon Flax Seed Oil opt.
1 block frozen Acai or 1 tablespoon freeze-dried opt.
Sweeten to taste using maple syrup, coconut nectar, coconut sugar, dates etc.
Throw everything in the blender and go!
