Dr Brandt’s Detoxifying Anti-oxidant Water Booster Goji-Maqui Review
One of Dr Brandt’s products I have purchased lately is their detoxifying anti-oxidant water booster goji-maqui; it is a dietary supplement that helps detoxify the body, which in turn helps promote healthier looking skin. The supplement is made up of a range of antioxidant superfoods such as gogi berry which helps speed up the natural detoxifying process, maqui berry to help protect cells from oxidative stress as well as grapeseed to help reduce damage and inflammation. What is one of this product’s selling points is that it does not contain any parabens or other potentially harmful chemicals that some competing products may have.
This is taken directly from the Dr. Brandt website: “Key Ingredients:
Grapeseed extract – Anti-oxidant that protects cells from free radical damage and helps skin look younger by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Green tea – Anti-oxidant that protects cells from free radical damage and helps reduce inflammation caused by UV exposure.
White tea – Anti-oxidant that protects skin against free radical damage.
Goji berry extract – Contains powerful detoxifying agents that speed up body’s own detoxification mechanism.
Maqui berry extract – Contains anti-inflammatory properties to protect cells from oxidative stress.

The supplement works with your body to help balance out the levels of toxins within your system, it helps to remove any excess fluid and toxins by improving your body’s natural processes, all the while helping to prevent signs of premature aging.
You are advised to add one droplet of the supplement to water no more than twice a day, so the method is easy enough, and you can have with hot or cold water, however, the taste may be something to be desired. Some users have had to add the supplement to hot water and honey to try and disguise the taste. If you have a sensitive taste pallet this may not be the product for you as reports would suggest that several users struggle to drink the liquid once the supplement is added to their drink. It is a bit of an odd taste, sort of sweet and bitter, I just add it to water and chug it down, it not that bad!
However, if you are able to withstand the acquired taste and use this product on a regular basis you should start to see improvements on your mood and general health. Many users reported increased levels of energy – which would mostly be due to your body not having to work as hard at removing waste products. It is gentle on the stomach; the lack of parabens in the supplement makes it easier to digest and helps maintain neutral pH levels in your stomach. This supplement has proved quite successful at helping to control levels of acne and breakouts, yet there seems to be little evidence to support preventing or improving signs of aging think of it as a prentative, however the product, when used religiously can generate vast improvements on skintone and skin starts to look brighter and healthier. I noticed my eyes were brighter and I had a bit more energy.
The second drawback to this product is the price at $39.00 per bottle, many do see it as an expensive product, however, you are only instructed to use two droppers a day, which does mean the bottle will last a while, you just need to make that initial investment.
Overall I think this product does have positive effects and does appear to improve the health of your body by assisting the detoxifying process as well as the antioxidants and hydration, but it must be made clear that the supplement may not taste very pleasant, nevertheless, if you decide to persevere with the product and use twice a day over a period of time, not only will you notice improvements, but these improvements will be maintained. This is not a short term, quick fix, but certainly something that you could add to your daily regime and see on going improvements to you skin and general well-being.
